In around five months, the focus of the international fistball community will turn to Chile: From October 29 to November 1, 2026, the men’s and women’s IFA Club World Cup will take place at the impressive venue of Club Gimnástico Alemán Llanquihue directly on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. Preparations for the international top event are already in full swing. Six teams each from Europe, South America and North America will compete in Chile for the club world championship titles.
Club Llanquihue is considered one of the most experienced organizers of international fistball events in South America. The venue in southern Chile has already hosted World Championships, South American Championships and most recently the 2024 U18 World Championships. Now, the IFA Club World Cup marks another international premiere for the club.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming the best club teams in the world to Llanquihue,” says Felipe Werner. “Preparations have been running intensively for months already. Our goal is to provide teams, fans and delegations with an unforgettable experience – not only in sporting terms, but also organizationally and culturally.”
The International Fistball Association is also eagerly anticipating the event. “Llanquihue has impressively demonstrated over the past years that international fistball events can be organized there at the highest level,” explains Gastão Englert. “We are very pleased that the club will once again host a major international competition. The combination of an outstanding venue, a strong fistball tradition and a world-class field of participants promises an exceptional event.”
In the men’s competition, FBC LINZ AG Urfahr (Austria) as European champion, TSV Pfungstadt (Germany) as European runner-up, South American champion SG Novo Hamburgo (Brazil), C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentina), South Jersey Fistball Club (USA) and host Club Llanquihue will compete for the title.
The women’s competition also promises top-level fistball. Europe will be represented by Ahlhorner SV and TV Jahn Schneverdingen, both from Germany. They will be joined by SOGIPA Porto Alegre (Brazil), C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentina), South Jersey Fistball Club (USA) and host Club Llanquihue.
“We are in close contact with the organizing committee in Chile. Preparations are progressing according to plan and the teams can look forward to a fantastic event,” emphasizes Sönke Spille. “The venue directly on the lake is certainly one of the most beautiful fistball locations in the world and provides the perfect setting for the IFA Club World Cup.”
IFA Klub-WM 2026: Vorfreude auf Top-Teams in Llanquihue
In rund fünf Monaten richtet sich der Blick der internationalen Faustballszene nach Chile: Vom 29. Oktober bis 1. November 2026 findet auf der eindrucksvollen Anlage des Club Gimnástico Alemán Llanquihue direkt am Llanquihue-See IFA Klub-Weltmeisterschaft der Männer und Frauen statt. Die Vorbereitungen für das internationale Top-Event laufen bereits auf Hochtouren. Jeweils sechs Teams aus Europa, Südamerika und Nordamerika werden in Chile um die Klub-Weltmeistertitel kämpfen.
Der Club Llanquihue zählt zu den erfahrensten Ausrichtern internationaler Faustballveranstaltungen in Südamerika. Bereits Weltmeisterschaften, Südamerika-Meisterschaften und zuletzt die U18-Weltmeisterschaften 2024 wurden auf der Anlage im Süden Chiles ausgetragen. Nun folgt mit dem IFA Club World Cup die nächste internationale Premiere für den Verein.

Auch bei der International Fistball Association blickt man dem Event mit großer Vorfreude entgegen. „Llanquihue hat in den vergangenen Jahren eindrucksvoll bewiesen, dass dort internationale Faustballveranstaltungen auf höchstem Niveau organisiert werden können“, erklärt Gastão Englert. „Wir freuen uns sehr, dass der Club erneut Gastgeber eines bedeutenden internationalen Bewerbs ist. Die Kombination aus einer außergewöhnlichen Anlage, großer Faustballtradition und einem hochklassigen Teilnehmerfeld verspricht ein herausragendes Event.“
Bei den Männern kämpfen der FBC LINZ AG Urfahr (Österreich) als Europacupsieger, TSV Pfungstadt (Deutschland) als europäischer Vizemeister, Südamerika-Champion SG Novo Hamburgo (Brasilien), C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentinien), der South Jersey Fistball Club (USA) sowie Gastgeber Club Llanquihue um den Titel.
Auch das Teilnehmerfeld der Frauen verspricht hochklassigen Faustballsport. Mit dem Ahlhorner SV und TV Jahn Schneverdingen kommen die beiden europäischen Vertreter aus Deutschland. Dazu qualifizierten sich SOGIPA Porto Alegre (Brasilien), C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentinien), der South Jersey Fistball Club (USA) sowie Gastgeber Club Llanquihue.
