Fistball is a unique blend of speed, skill, and strategy. Played across the world by passionate athletes, it’s a sport where powerful spikes, lightning-quick reflexes, and spectacular dives define the game. Whether on grass or indoors, fistball never fails to thrill.

What is Fistball?

Two teams, five players each, one goal: place the ball in the opponent’s half in a way they can’t return it.
The ball is hit with the fist or arm (never open hands) and may bounce once between contacts. Each team has up to three touches (by different players) before returning the ball.

Fistball’s roots trace back over 2,000 years to ancient Rome.
Modern competitive fistball emerged in late 19th-century Europe, with the IFA officially founded in 1960. Since then, the sport has evolved into a worldwide movement – uniting tradition with innovation.
