Swiss Women’s Fistball Team celebrates silver at The World Games Chengdu 2025: The Swiss Women’s Fistball Team was proudly represented in the current The World Games (TWG) series “Heroes of the Games”, finishing the tournament in Chengdu 2025 as silver medalists after an outstanding international campaign.

Once again, Switzerland confirmed its place among the world’s elite. In a competition defined by high intensity and top-level performances, the Swiss team advanced through dramatic matches and reached the final, where they faced a strong Brazilian side. The tournament concluded with Brazil taking gold, Switzerland silver and Germany bronze.

Beyond the result, the Swiss team impressed with exceptional cohesion, mental strength and resilience under challenging conditions, including extreme heat. Emotional moments in the semifinal against Germany and a closely contested final highlighted the quality and determination of the squad.
