The INTERACT+ consortium came together on 18 November for the final partners meeting, marking an important milestone as the project approaches its conclusion. Representatives from all partner organizations convened to reflect on progress, share final updates, and align on the remaining steps that will bring this ambitious initiative to a successful close. Among the participants was Christoph Oberlehner, Secretary General of the International Fistball Association (IFA), underlining the strong involvement of the fistball community within the project.
The meeting opened with welcome remarks, followed by a comprehensive review of the latest developments across the various work packages. Discussions highlighted the extensive collaboration that has driven INTERACT+ forward, from creating and refining project outputs to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the tools and frameworks developed over the past years. Partners also shared updates on upcoming events and final activities designed to further promote the project’s impact within the Sport for All movement.
A key focus of the meeting was ensuring that the project’s outcomes will remain accessible and relevant beyond its official duration. With capacity-building structures being integrated into future TAFISA programs and sustainability models progressing across several areas, the consortium reaffirmed its commitment to supporting partner organizations well into the next phase. In this context, participants – including representatives from international federations such as the IFA – also expressed interest in exploring future cooperation opportunities under Erasmus+ and beyond.
As the meeting drew to a close, partners outlined the remaining administrative steps and reporting requirements necessary to formally complete the project. Despite this being the final official consortium meeting, the strong sense of cooperation and shared purpose among all partners was clearly evident.
The final partners meeting served not only as a celebration of the achievements of INTERACT+, but also as a launchpad for continued joint efforts. The project has delivered valuable resources and frameworks while fostering a committed international network dedicated to strengthening Sport for All at all levels – a legacy that will continue well beyond the project’s conclusion.
