The International Fistball Association (IFA) has published the first edition of its new monthly newsletter, creating a central platform for news and updates from across the international fistball community.
The newsletter is designed to provide a compact overview of the most important developments within the IFA and its committees. Future editions will regularly feature updates on competitions, youth development, the World Tour, athletes, governance and upcoming events.
The inaugural edition looks back at the successful IFA U18 Fistball World Championships and Women’s European Championship in Reiden (Switzerland), where more than 275 athletes from around the world competed for international titles. Beyond the action on the field, the event also highlighted several initiatives aimed at strengthening communication and engagement within the global fistball community.
Among them was the first-ever “Ask the President” session, giving members the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with IFA President Gastão Englert and members of the Executive Board. The initiative underlined the IFA’s commitment to transparency and closer dialogue with its member associations.
The newsletter also features insights from the IFA Youth Commission, including a review of the successful IFA Youth Festival in Reiden and the introduction of the newly elected U18 Athlete Representatives, who will represent the voices of young athletes within the commission.
In addition, the IFA Athletes Commission introduces itself to the international community, outlining its role and inviting players worldwide to actively contribute ideas, questions and feedback.
The IFA Newsletter will be published at the end of each month through the association’s official communication channels, providing the global fistball family with regular updates from across the sport.
