Governance at the Heart of IFA
At the International Fistball Association (IFA), our commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and democratic values is reflected in our highest decision-making body — the IFA Congress. Each participating member federation holds a double vote, reinforcing the voice of our global network in shaping the sport’s future.
Held every four years alongside a major IFA event, the Congress brings together:
- Up to three representatives from each member federation
- The IFA Board of Directors
- Honorary members with voting rights
- This assembly sets the strategic direction of the IFA and elects the Board of Directors, shaping the future of our global fistball community.

WORLDWIDE EVENTS
Across the world, fistball is celebrated through a wide range of events – from youth competitions to men’s, women’s, and Masters tournaments, whether organized by the IFA or the continental associations.
These events bring the community together, showcase the sport at all levels, and provide the stage for athletes to compete, develop, and be recognized globally.
